I am Ian's wife, Karen Lowden, and it is here that I must inform the viewer of Ian's Blogs, that on Sun., Sept. 19, 2010 Ian passed away quite suddenly at home. I was by his side and performed CPR for 17 minutes while on the phone with 9-1-1 and waiting for help to arrive. I believe that he was gone before he hit the floor. It will be a memory that will stay with me until I die, I am sure. As of yet there has been no C.O.D. (cause of death) decided by the coroners, and as I write this, it is Sat., Nov. 06, 2010. His "Celebration of Life" was held at the Rollo Centre on Sat., Oct. 23, 2010. As he passed away in front of me you can only imagine how incredibly upsetting this is for me. But anyone that knew us, knew that we cared for each other with everything that we had. I will miss him immensely and never forget him for whatever time I have left in my life.
